4:30 PM Sunday, April 6th at Westside Church (7300 Stockdale Hwy) for our regular rhythm of worship, prayer, and teaching and taking the Bread & Cup as House Church communities.
As always, we look forward to spending time as a community around the table after our gathering. Normally, we have a taco dinner after the gathering, but for the April 6th gathering, we will have the meal catered by the Tuesday Nigth Ministry (Chili Hot dogs and sides).

The Tuesday Night Ministry meets every Tuesday evening outdoors on the grounds of The Mission at Kern County, 816 East 21st Street. This ministry began over 30 years ago at one church, but God has turned it into a Body of Christ ministry with multiple churches and groups involved. A short message begins at 6:30 PM with dinner set up and serving beginning at 7:00 PM. Everyone is invited to serve, including families with children. We are also looking for those called to do worship from 6:00-6:30 PM on those evenings.
Be aware that we will be outdoors from 6:30-8:00 PM, so dress accordingly.

We’re starting off Holy Week in a unique way this year—a Palm Sunday Hike! We’ll take a short walk together in the hills of Wind Wolves Preserve, remembering Jesus’ triumphal entry from the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem. He came riding on a donkey, welcomed by people waving palm branches and shouting Hosanna—save now!
We’ll have palm branches for the kids to carry, and along the way, we’ll pause a few times to reflect, pray, and remember the kind of King Jesus is. It’ll be simple, meaningful, and a good way to begin Holy Week together.
Wind Wolves Preserve
10:00 AM — We’ll head out shortly after, so please plan to arrive on time.More specific details can be found HERE on our event page.

Join us on Easter Sunday!
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! - Luke 24:5-6
Jesus’ resurrection from the grave is not only the center point for our Christian faith but also the most significant moment in all of human history. We will gather for worship at 10:00 AM at The Collective Venue (931 19th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301)
We need help with the Easter gathering—set up, cookies, coffee, etc. If you are interested in helping out, you can sign up HERE.

The Sunday after Easter, April 27, we will hold a special Baptism Gathering. Baptism is a sacrament that symbolizes a deeper spiritual reality—our old, isolated self is buried with Christ, and we are raised to new life in Him and His body, the Church.
If you’re ready to take this step of faith, we invite you to sign up to express your desire for baptism. We’ll send out information about our next Baptism Class. More details can be found HERE

“Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:46.
On May 4, 2025, we invite parent(s) to dedicate their children to Jesus as part of our Sunday gathering. In the same way that Mary and Joseph presented Jesus to the Lord in Luke 2:22-23, this will be a sacred moment for parents to commit to one another and our community to raise their children in the way of Jesus.
If you are interested in dedicating your child, please fill out the quick form HERE.
