Monthly Update

 March 2026 Monthly

  • Next All Gathering: 4:30 PM Sunday, February 1st at Westside Church (7300 Stockdale Hwy) for our regular rhythm of worship, prayer, and teaching and taking the Bread & Cup as House Church communities. This month will be a special one—our kids will be leading us in worship.

As always, we look forward to spending time as a community around the table after our gathering. We'll be in the gym for the meal that evening. Please feel welcome to stick around for dinner and enjoy some tacos🌮! ($5 per person, with a max of $20 per family to help cover costs).

  • River & Way Student Group is starting a new monthly gathering for 7th–12th graders for those that want to join! We’re planning to meet on the second Wednesday of each month as a space for our students to get to know each other better, build real community, and grow in confidence as part of the life of the church.

Our first gathering is Wednesday, March 11 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Braaten Home. (Address in registration link)

We’ll share a meal together, take communion, worship, talk about what this group could become, pray, and have some fun too. More than anything, we want our teens to know this is a place where they are known, where their voice matters, and where they can grow in their faith in Jesus.

Please fill out the quick interest form so we can plan on who will be there.

  • Join us on Wednesday, March 25 from 6:30 to 8:15 PM at A1 Acres for our 2026 Annual Vision and Prayer Night. In past years, this has happened on a Sunday evening during All Gathering, but this year we’re trying it midweek. This will be a meaningful night to worship, pray, and seek the Lord together as we remember where God has brought us and look ahead to the year to come. We’ll share vision for 2026 and take time to posture ourselves before God with humility, expectancy, and trust. Families are welcome. There will be no childcare available, so please plan accordingly if needed.

    10:00 AM  12:00 PM

We’re starting off Holy Week in a unique way with a Palm Sunday Hike! We’ll take a short walk together in the hills of Wind Wolves Preserve, remembering Jesus’ triumphal entry from the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem. He came riding on a donkey, welcomed by people waving palm branches and shouting Hosanna—save now!

We’ll have palm branches for the kids to carry (If you have some around your property bring some to share), and along the way, we’ll pause a few times to reflect, pray, and remember the kind of King Jesus is. It’ll be simple, meaningful, and a good way to begin Holy Week together.

Details: 10:00 AM — We’ll head out shortly after, so please plan to arrive on time.

Park in the roadside designated parking. We’ll meet at the “Crossing Campground” area, under the picnic gazebo near the restrooms.

Lunch: For anyone who wants to stay, feel free to bring a packed lunch and we’ll eat together at one of the group spots at Wind Wolves after the hike.

    What to bring:

    • Water bottle

    • Bug Spray

    • Athletic shoes (This is an easy trail, but sometimes muddy depending on the weather)

    • Packed lunch if you want to stay after the hike

  • Join us on Easter Sunday!

Jesus’ resurrection from the grave is not only the center point for our Christian faith but also the most significant moment in all of human history. We will gather for worship at 10:00 AM at The Collective Venue on 19th Street. We can’t wait to celebrate Easter with you!

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! - Luke 24:5-6

  • On Sunday, April 12, the Sunday after Easter, we’re gathering for a special All Gathering as we celebrate together new life in Christ through baptism.

Baptism is our public confession of faith in Jesus and our identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. In baptism, we commit to follow Jesus, renounce Satan and his empty promises, and affirm the power of Christ’s resurrection in us through the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” Matthew 28:19

    Baptism Class (TBA)

We’ll host a baptism class sometime in March for anyone planning to be baptized on April 12. Dates will be announced shortly.

    Can children be baptized?

We practice baptism for those who personally believe in Christ. For children, baptism is appropriate when there’s evidence of a genuine relationship with God and an age appropriate understanding of trusting Jesus. The timing will vary by child, and we trust the discernment of parents along with House Church community affirmation.

Ready to be baptized? Sign up here!
